OBS Studio is a free and open-source app that allows users to record and live-stream their screen. It is written in C/C++ and built with Qt, and provides real-time capture and scene composition capabilities. OBS Studio can stream videos to a variety of destinations, including YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, and Facebook, using the Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP).
OBS Studio can use different video encoding methods, such as x264 transcoding, Intel Quick Sync Video, Nvidia NVENC, and the AMD Video Coding Engine, to encode video streams in the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC or H.265/HEVC formats. It can also encode multiple tracks of audio in the AAC format. More advanced users can use the available codecs and containers in libavcodec and libavformat, or output the stream to a custom FFmpeg URL.
As a member of the localization team for OBS Studio, I have contributed to the translation of the app into Hebrew.
I have also worked with the team to ensure that the Hebrew translation accurately reflects the intended meaning and is properly integrated into the app.
Through my efforts, I have helped make OBS Studio accessible to Hebrew speakers and improved the user experience for this community.
